New Partner Festival: Kesärauha

We’re excited to welcome Kesärauha as a new partner within the European Talent Exchange network.

Founded in 2019, Kesärauha has quickly become one of Finland’s leading indie festivals and was awarded Best Festival in Finland. Set in the stunning Turku Castle Park, right by the Baltic Sea, the festival blends modern pop culture with the atmosphere of a medieval landmark. One of its most iconic features is the stage located inside the castle courtyard, offering audiences a one-of-a-kind live experience.

Across four stages and with a total capacity of 10,000, Kesärauha hosts over 60 artists each year, with at least one festival day selling out well in advance. Its diverse lineups have included international acts such as AURORA, Jungle, MEW, Wolf Alice, Viagra Boys, Slowdive, 070 Shake, The Sounds, Balming Tiger, DJ Shadow and The Libertines.

Kesärauha is also committed to discovering new international talent. Artists like Glass Beams, Boko Yout, Deki Alem and Stella Explorer performed at the festival just before reaching wider audiences.

Located in Turku, the former capital of Finland, Kesärauha is easy to reach: the city has its own airport, sits only two hours from Helsinki, and offers daily ferry connections to Stockholm.
