European Talent Exchange (Exchange in short) promotes the exchange of European artists across Europe and beyond. The platform is coordinated by ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag) and YOUROPE is responsible for the administration of the festival bonuses and yearly contributions. The regulations below explain the process of claiming the bonus for booking eligible Exchange artists.
The artists from ESNS 2025 can be selected to support within this programme. Partner festivals can request the contact link by sending us an email. Exchange supports transnational bookings, this means the artist(s) should be from outside your country borders to be eligible for reimbursement. Please note that you can only request reimbursement for one act per country. The European Talent Exchange logo has to be placed on your website or in the artist's bio. You can find these logos here.
As a programme cofunded by the European Union, European Talent Exchange needs proof of your activities, which means photos and/or videos of the performances and the placement of the logo (mentioned above). YOUROPE will reach out to you after the festival has taken place to inform you about claiming the bonus and to gather the proof mentioned above.
To claim the bonus, please make sure you have made the payment for the European Talent Exchange contribution via YOUROPE. The invoices are sent by YOUROPE at the beginning of the year. This yearly Exchange contribution needs to be paid for your participation in the programme and to claim your free ESNS tickets for the upcoming edition.
This option is for festivals based in Europe. You can book up to three eligible Exchange acts, and you will receive reimbursement of €1,200 for the first booked act and €1,000 for the second and third acts. The maximum amount of the reimbursement is €3,200. Reimbursement payments will be made after YOUROPE and European Talent Exchange have been provided with proof and details (e.g. screenshots and links to videos/photos)
This option is for festivals based outside of Europe. You can book up to two eligible acts for which you will receive €1,600 compensation per act. The maximum amount of the reimbursement is €3,200 (two artists in total). Reimbursement payments will be made after YOUROPE and European Talent Exchange have been provided with proof and details has been provided with proof and details (e.g. screenshots and links to videos/photos).
